Hello all, I was just wondering what good simulators are out there under 30k. I looked at the Trugolf simulator and was amazed, but it was a little pricey (39,000).

I was wondering if there are any good simulators in my price range, or if I should jump up to the highers ones like Trugolf. If that is the case, what would be some other ideal ones?

Thank you in advanced for responses.

Zack,

Have a look at the systems by HD Golf. If you are going to spend that kind of money, it is better to get your money's worth. Tru Golf and Full Swing look and play like video games, (you might as well invest in a Playstation). Poor graphics, lousy performance and they take a very limited amount of measurements.

Just my two cents.

you may want to look at aboutgolf. I know it's pricey, but I think it's real cool http://www.aboutgolf.com/

I have to put a simsuround on my christmas list this year.  Do they have price list somewhere?

It seems to be like there is a huge gap between the affordable stuff (dancing dog and the like which are all under 1.5k but limited)) and the pro stuff (25k+).

well about golf starts at about 45K. Also in the similar category is Full Swing http://www.fullswinggolf.com

You can also look at p3proswing which is pretty good at 23K for the studio version, http://www.p3proswing.com

hope that helps

I have always been turned off by the p3proswings need to tape the club. Seems like that would get to be apin in a hurry if you don't have 2 sets of clubs.

We had 2 fullswing models and went to the GC2.  Graphics and ballflight are way more accurate with the GC2.  Also it's small and portable and you can take it own to the range and hit balls with it.  Closest you can come to a trackman for the price.  You can get all you need for around 12 grand also.

What would a CG2 run you without the stuido set up?  Just the portable unit?  These websites never list prices!

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
