Yeah I've noticed this as well. I just got my wedges regripped (GP Multicompounds) and it ran me $10.00 CAD per grip and no extra cost for service.

.. and yet, although I can fix or build anything, I end up with 2 grips ruined & solvent all over the floor ... wishing I could blame the Winn 7715W-CP s

I do see others slip it on like it was greased and have aped everything they do - ugh

2x$7.5 grips = $15

PGA Superstore does regripping for $1 per club (plus cost of grip) while you shop/browse. That's awesome, provided there's a PGASS near you. I tried the diy thing a while back, and it's not worth it to me. Plus it gives me an excuse to go to the best golf store in the country.

Watch out the cost of those fat stroke  putter grips.  Shocking, esp since benefit is really hard to find.

I started regripping my clubs (plus a friend's) recently. I also don't use a vise, just my hands to hold and push. I must have done 30 clubs in the past 2 months. I highly recommend this plastic grip installation tool they sell for $10. It spread opens the mouth of the grip when first sliding it on. A time saver!

I have been regripping my clubs for several years.  I dont even use a vice.  Just be sure to get the special blades for your knife to make is safe.  Look on Youtube or google it.  Very simple
