Anyone out here use one of these?  It seems like a good idea just want to know what feedback you may have if you used one.  Thanks.

I haven't used the compression board that's being sold commercially but I have used something similar. Works great if you are trying to teach yourself how to hit down on the ball and not flip.  I couldn't see spending $40 for something you can easily make yourself.

Here's a link to Martin Hall using something similar made out of plywood. Fast forward to the 5:30 mark

For me, I just use a small cutting board placed about 3" behind the ball. Since it's plastic it doesn't mar the club if you hit it. $2 well spent.

That plywood board doesn't teach - it punishes.

Use a towel, your wrists will thank you.

Has anyone here purchased one of these?  I was originally in the hunt to purchase a lie board, to practice on... But came across this and thought it was a better training aid.

We use a plywood board with a slot cut out. It doesn't hurt - just put it farther away if you're having a hard time avoiding it.
