Beer or Milk? What Would You Do If You Won a Major?

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and I figured what better way to break the ice and make friends than to talk about funny stuff. :)

As you know, Keegan Bradley won his first PGA Championship last Sunday. After his victory, he tweeted this photo:

The tweet said: "If anyone's wondering what u do after u win a major: 3 bud lights in the fridge cereal an ppj's"

which is kinda funny I think... but maybe boring at the same time... so what do you think about it?

How would you celebrate if you won a major? Drinks, party with friends, family time?

All I can say is that he just won a major, and he's drinking perhaps the worst brand of domestic beer. Lost a point in my book.

big dinner with the family. but right after, probably take a cold shower and pinch myself to make sure i was awake, then get a 2 hour massage.

He just won a major, he can drink whatever beer he wants.

True that. But I thought he could've at least bought something premium considering he's got a fat check coming in.

If I won a major, I would probably buy multiple kegs of some of the best beer in the world, and have a private dinner and party with my friends and family.

I guess he didn't expect to win, so he just grabbed whatever beer he had in the fridge.

I agree. If I won, I'd spend some of that fat check on premium drinks and food, and of course, it's all about sharing the joy with friends and family.

id of had a nice family meal, probably at a restraunt to celebrate, then hit the clubs and got wasted

Huge dinner with family and friends.  Then i would take the wife and kid to Hawaii!!

As far as Bud Light....it's a very popular choice.  They all taste the same after 3 or 4 anyway.

Fill the trophy with Stone Brewing Company's - Ruination (IPA). Celebrate with filet mignon, 22oz. ribeyes, Alaskan King Crab legs and then a cuban cigar. After that I'd probably go play putt putt and carry the trophy around with me with a second refill of Ruination at precisely 42°F on stand-by! Friends and family and drinks all around!

Not that I've put any thought into this or anything...

Maybe.  Or maybe he likes Bud Light and is just a good ole boy who isnt going to letting winning a major change who he is.  He could have done much, much worse than Bud Light.  If he been cracking open a case of Keystone or Natural Light then I would have totally agreed with you!

Personally, if I had won a major Id be cracking open a bottle of the most expensive champagne I could find.  To each their own...

Beer, many.

I don't know what I'd do.  He really doesn't look like the party type.  I'd do alot of things in my younger days, non of which I will mention here.  But those things and golf professional really don't work.

milk for me, but i have recurrent pancreatitis so the docs all strongly advise against me consuming alcohol.  wouldn't want to wind up in the hospital directly after winning major.  "golfer parties himself straight into hospital after major" probably wouldn't be a very good headline.

Meh, I just have had bad experiences with Budweiser beer. But, If Keegan likes it, then so be it. I guess he probably didn't want to hit the liquor store in fear of being recognized.

I'm perfectly content with that too. I wasn't discussing how much he drinks, rather just his beer of choice. I didn't mean to come off as a douche, so I'm sorry. Back to the topic.
