I am a fan of Micheal Breed, I know that quite a few people hate that guy but his energy appeals to me. I do like Martin Halls show as well, love the "tools" he uses to emphasize his points.

Golf fix with Michael Breed, +1. He's a little over the top sometimes, but he always has good tips and guests.

Driver:  9088UL 10.5* draw, regular flex

I like Golf Fix but have intentionally stopped watching.  The last thing I need are more thoughts in my head concerning my address, stance, swing, ball position, etc.

Always changing:

 

Driver: Cobra S2/Nike VR Pro 10.5º

Irons: Callaway X-20 Tour 4-9i

Hybrid: Titleist 910H 19º & 21º

Wood: TaylorMade R11 3w

Putter: Odyssey White Hot

Wedges: Titleist Vokeys - 48º, 54º, 62º

 

First round: February 2011

I really enjoy the Golf Fix, however like the previous post said, it sometimes fills my head with too much information.  I like to watch it thru the week and slowly digest what he is saying.  I really enjoy the show the most when he concentrates on one club at a time, like a putting show or a driver show.  This helps the overflow of information a good bit IMO.

I like School of Golf, but I find that the program is too short. I think if given the same 1 hour time slot as Breed, Martin Hall could give much better instruction. Alot of his major tips seem to get cut short. I also could use without his co-host.

In their current format, however, I enjoy "Playing Lessons" the most.

Your desire to change has to be greater than your desire to stay the same.

I definitely like Feherty. It doesn't do a whole lot for my game, but I can be so cheeky to my playing partners that I can psyche them out at critical moments by making them laugh. It also does wonders on developing an Irish accent.

Other than that, the Golf Fix has some useful tips, especially the short lessons on Youtube. It's just that most of the lessons don't apply to me, or any one golfer, and sometimes the fixes are a little drastic, better suited to breaking ingrained habits than to add shots to one's arsenal.

"Let's Do This!" .... I really like The Golf Fix with Breed .... But I also like School of Golf.

Playing lessons is still fun to watch, and I always hope they'll bring it back with new ones ....

      so with the driver. Feel more arm  width at A4. keep an in the eye on the ball. The first move from the top is lowering the hands down. Don’t mix that up with looking up at the target as the club comes down from A4 with the body. Feel like I get width with the arms from the chest in the Downswing.

      Went back and reviewed my rounds this year at my home course to fill out the spreadsheet. Realized I have made at least par on each hole but two that I have bogied. At my skill level, it gives me a new confidence that I can play each hole decently well and strong together a lower score. Great mental boost.

      I'm at 330 I think. I have a spreadsheet with all of them in it. It helps having lived in two countries. 159 in the US and 136 in the UK. Then a handful in Europe and a few in other countries (Canada, Australia, Mexico).

      First Birdie of the year at Links of Sandpiper in Lakeland Fl, 450ys Par 5, Pulled driver to left rough trying to cut corner, Left myself 194 in uphill, hit my 5 iron to 8 feet. Unfortunately greens were in terrible shape and it was a sliding right to left putt, hit a nasty piece of dead spot and hopped left for a missed eagle putt with a 6 inch tap in for bird.
