I am a higher handicap golfer and struggle with consistancy with my iron play. I am 6' 3" and 53 years old and am able to hit the ball a long way with just a moderate swing speed. I currently play with Wilson Staff Di7 irons with graphite shafts. I have taken lessons from time to time and am always reading about the game and have a good understanding of the swing, grip and stance. My question is would I benifit from switching to steel shafts to add a little consistancy to my game. I was thinking about the Ping G 15 irons fitted to my specs. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
