i game AD333's there my prefered ball, but as i won a dozen trispeeds just wondering how the 2 balls differ from each other?

a buddy of mine who has a lower handicap than i was playing the ad's and couldn't generate any spin at all. He had quite a few errant drives as well. I played a round with trispeed tours a few days ago and I felt like my drives were staying straighter and even put some good spin on the ball. Sports Authority has em for 20 bucks right now, i may need to stock up!

The worst day of golf beats the best day of work!

The TriSpeeds are a little bit softer and spin a little bit more than the AD333s.

Personally, I used to love the TriSpeeds. Great distance off of my driver with low spin off the deck. Easy to check up on the green with moderate roll out for what the ball is and what it costs.

I now use, what for me is basically an equal but for some reason I hit it better, the HX Diablo by Callaway. Similar pricing (perhaps $5.00 cheaper). Not off-topic because my point is that if you end up liking the TriSpeeds, check out the HX Diablo. Similar results and less on the wallet which is always a good thing. See Srixon Q-Star vs similar quality balls at $10.00 more per dozen.

I found Trispeeds to spin more around the green and feel a little softer, otherwise I saw similar distance.

Depends what you want: distance or spin and even then you arent giving up much spin with the AD333.  Ive tried both and I actually prefer the AD333.  It goes farther, flies straighter and if you hit it crisp it still gets plenty of spin to stop on the green.

got some ad333 as a gift and used them on Sunday. decent ball. spun one back 10 feet on a full shot but didn't get much check on chips. I will probably use them up on first time courses.

I have 8 dozen of each in my garage, and have used nothing but SrixonAD333s for 15 years. Slow senior swingspeed, 20 handicap. Have tried many other soft golf balls, none better than AD333/s.

The Tri Speeds have better spin, however, I get same distance from both balls. Trispeeds cost 50% more than AD333 ($30 vs $20 MSRP).

Presently, AD333's can be found for $25/2doz.

The reason I bought Trispeeds was price. I bid on EBay and bought 6 doz for $14/doz including shipping.

Srixon is going to replace both TriSpeeds and AD333s with Qstars. Bad marketing on their part. See my comments under peartree.

The AD333s and TriSpeeds were nice but the Q-Stars are vastly superior.  Unless all you care about is cost, I dont see whats not to love about the Q-Stars.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
