Vegas - Rio Secco ... they keep it all on the up and up though.    Think real caddies in short shorts.

Pretty sure I know why the OP is single.

Certain he'll remain that way.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

You rent a car. One does not "rent" a caddy unless it is a Cadillac. One "hires" a caddy. And that "Hot Chick" you are fantasizing about is someone's daughter. Show some respect for the game and for those who work to serve us while we play.

Go to Thailand. The caddies are generally very pretty young Thai women. They are clothed in long sleaved pants and tops with bonnets - for sun protection, each course has its own colors. Most speak English - some Japanense, German and a few other languages. Friendly, very personable, your driver on the course, skilled at assisting you at golf, though my impression was none actually play golf. And a personal cheering section. And they keep the greens and course immaculate.

It is really an experience.

There is a limit on most courses to 3 caddies per person. Not sure what they are all for. In Thai heat, one to hold an umbrella for shade and one to assist with the golf.  A lot of people hire lots of caddies as a show of wealth.

A lot of the course allow 6-somes, so you could see 24 people in the group in front of you!!!!

I was on a business trip about 6 months back, one of my contractors took all the management on a trip that cost about 7000 rand per person.

It was a 3 day long weekend, You started day one at Sun City on the Gary Player coarse, each player had 2 girls that looked after you, one caddied the other carried the cool bag. Then a bus took us to a lodge for the night and the the next day tee time was at 9am at Elements cc, also free caddies and drink. Day three was at Leopards creek. *No1 rated coarse in SA*

Its a package that i understand was open to anyone willing to pay. And the girls were supplied by Teazers. For me the experience was playing Leopards Creek. Most amazing round of golf ever.

    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
    • Day 30, 1/30.  Six minutes this morning hitting a few more range balls, indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Did this before leaving the house.

    • Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
