Hey guys, I have a question on the consistency off my swing.  Im not sure if any of you can relate but sometimes my swing feels natural and has flow where as other days it feels uncomfotable and unsteady.  I didnt know if there was anything i could do to make the feel off my swings feel more steady and natural.  Like is there stretches or exercises that will make my swing more consistent.  Thanks,    -kevin

Only thing that I can think of would be to make slow motion swings, like 20% speed.  10-20 times a day.  Really great for creating consistency with the motion

Usually that feeling for me is not tempo or anything, but me overroating (leading to overswinging), and my head moving to much. This is from years of doing it, so it pops up if i don't make a mental effort. For the one day you might have felt something that worked, and the other you might have dropped back into a bad habit. It really takes looking at your swing in a camera or a pro to relate feel to what your doing.

Moving at slow speed is a good way to train, its tough to do, and i would get a mirror or some sort of camera were you can view what your doing.

My golf swing is in the same boat as any other activity I'd have done that day. Some days I'm feeling groovy and some days I'm not. When I find that my natural comfortable set up position is also my hitting the ball well setup positon it's gonna be a good day. So I work on that at the range - finding a balance between most comfortable and most correct. When I take a couple practice swings and it feels like I'm using someone else's arms, then it's gonna be a long day.

Temp is my key to driving.  I find when i am thinking about tempo, i stay way more controlled, i dont move as much and in the end i make better contact, hit the fairway and even hit it farther when it feels like im not swinging as hard.

Temp will also make you way more consistant, and as long as your consistant you should know where the ball is going wether it is a straight or a slice.
