@newtogolf No I haven't checked the serial number but even if it checks out that doesn't mean much.  Fakes are so good now.  If it putts true and I'm confident in the feel, I honestly don't care if it's fake.  I'm thinking about getting some sight lines and getting custom paint fill - I just want the thing back if they can't work on it lol - That said, I can 100% see them keeping it if it was a fake to get it out of the market and after all that would be copyright infringement and a whole host of other legalities...   I think I'm just going to send it in.  I'll probably wait till around December when I'm not playing as much golf...  It will be my Christmas present for me or my bag of coals lol...

There's a head pro at a local golf course (who's also my golf team's head coach) that has two fake Scotty Cameron Studio Design 1's, and two real ones (one which we didn't get to putt with since it was bought at Augusta National). There were very subtle differences between the fakes and the real ones, and the fakes still felt pretty darn good when putting with them.
