  1. 1. Will Danielle break 80 in any of her LPGA rounds?

    • Hell No

    • Sure. She's hot enough.

Quick question -- did Pam get ANYTHING? That had to be the most awkward and cheesy end to a contest that I've ever seen. To answer the original question -- nope, don't think she'll break 80, notwithstanding the fact that her short game is "her strength" or was that her iron play or maybe it was the driver.....

I did too, or something. After all, Bart got an automatic invite to BBIV, and Pam was definitely the fan favorite (well, her or Valeria, probably).

I kind of laughed a little when Pam was just standing there watching Danielle get all that loot. You know her hatred for Danielle had to rise pretty quick. It did seem kind of messed up though. On the other two Big Breaks another contestant got a conselation prize; on the first the conselation prize was one expemption for a Canadian Tour Event and the second was the invite to BB4. If I was Pam I would feel cheated.

Well, +3 after 3 holes isn't going to get it done. That is for sure.

But hey, I have seen comebacks before. This one isn't looking prosperous however.

At Kingsmill, I see that Danielle is +3 after 4. I think the only one surprised might be her.

The equipment is there...I'm not!

Hey, she did get a par I guess. And besides, Annika finished at +5. I know Danielle is well on her way to 85, but just seeing her name above Annika's just looks weird.

+6 Through 8. Not looking good. I still think she will do it in one of the rounds. There was no way it would happen today though. The pressure is 1000x what she had on BBIII.

Where is everyone getting this information? Who is she grouped with?

Go here: The Sand Trap That shows who she is grouped with, and then click on the scores link at the bottom of the story to see the lpga leaderboard.

As of 5 minutes ago she was 6 OVER - 3 bogies, two doubles - and one birdie. 80 looks about right!!! And it looked like Vince C was doing a poor job of caddying for her.

+7 with 3 to play. If she can play 16-18 in +1 she will shoot 79. Go Barbie.

Don't hold your breath. +8 now. You would think she had never played this course or something but she spent the whole BBIII playing around on it.

    • Day 37: did my drill swings in the garage with foam balls for about 15 minutes. Working on getting my backswing more turned and then going from there.
    • Thanks but honestly… I don't know any other way. I don't mind being wrong so long as I know where to go from there. I don't like being wrong — I'd love to get things right (which is different than "being right"). I recommend grabbing a furniture slider or a paper plate or something, and doing something like this: First, make a swing where you let your trail foot swing out as you turn, then twist that foot back in. From DL and FO, it'll look like this: Then, during a regular backswing, try to twist your foot in slightly (demonstrated in the left image): You'll notice a crease along the trail side of your hip, your pelvis will "fold" into that thigh (internal rotation of the hip joint), and your "bits" will be squished a little between your pelvis and your thigh. Ben Hogan said once: "At the top of the back swing the groin muscle on the inside of your rt [sic] leg near your right nut will tighten," Hogan wrote. "This subtle feeling of tightness there tells you that you have made the correct move back from the ball." I don't know about that, but you will probably feel something down around that area.
    • Yep. I think it will start to feel even more athletic when we start on the downswing stuff later.  I know, it's just I want to be younger so I have more time to enjoy the changes. 🙂
