Just one ace for me so far. It also happened to be part of my best ever 9 holes of golf, oddly occuring during a extreme windstorm.

-Hole #6 at my old home course, 152 yards

Completely nuked a 4 iron into 35+ mph wind. Traveled probably 170 yards, then started to come back at me... hit about 15 feet behind the pin, then rolled into the cup.

The next hole was a 510 par 5, downwind. My drive was less than 100 yards from the green and I pitched it close and made the eagle for my first and only back to back eagles. I shot a 30 for the nine, missing a 10 footer on the 9th for a 29!

Fore!

COURSE: Riverview golf club
DETAILS: Hole # 11 136 yards 8 Iron October 28 2006
This hole plays uphill a bit, and that day we were playing into about a 15 mph wind. played a nice easy 8 into the wind, actually hit a straight shot and my friends and I thought it went over the green. After looking for the ball I went back to the green to try and find my ball mark and happened to look intot he cup and there it was wedged between the cup and the pin. No ball mark was found so we figure it flew straight into the cup. With my handicapp even a blind squirrel finds an acorn.

I've never had an Ace but i've had a Double Eagle so i think that qualifies.

Murrysville Golf Club
#6 413 par 5
5 iron from about 190 out

This hole is set up funny. At about 200 out there is a large gully that has a stream running through it and a small landing area. To clear the gully you need about a 280 shot on the fly. Almost everyone lays up. I tried to lay up and hit the ball a little far and rolled down into the gully. So I have a blind shot at the green. The foursome all hit their shots and were waiting for me to hit. I hit a clean shot right where i think the green is. Everyone gets up there and find there balls but me. Everyone hits and is on the green and i'm still looking. I tell them to go ahead and put i'm going to keep looking. My Dad who was in the group when to pull the pin and saw my ball in the hole. Everyone went totally crazy because this was my first year playing.

Never had one.
Once on a par 4, I completely missed my drive and was left with a bad lie 135 yards up hill to the green. Trying to get the ball back in position, I topped my 7 iron badly and watched the ball bound up the fairway onto the green and into the hole. Eagle 2.

Moral: Never curse a shot till it stops rolling.
Good thing: There is no place on the score card for comments or pictures.

i havent ever really got a hole in one; however, there is a course near me that is only 9 holes but they have 2 different cups in the green so you have a chance of playing to a different hole location on your back 9..

anyways.. flag was on the left of the green and the other hole was at the back right.. ended up shooting a little hard and right.. ball lands on the green and disappears.. where did the ball go? oh it went into the other cup!

pretty funny.. i dropped another ball and ended up gettin a bogey.. nice

How many holes in ones do you have?
If not, what was the closest to the pin?
what was your final score?
Did you frame the ball and score card?
Did you buy drinks?
Did you have any positive thoughts before hitting your shot?

Thanks in advance for your comments!

I witness 2 hole in ones.
The first one the golfer played behind us and we waived him up and he came strolling up to the green with a cigar in his mouth, so he came prepared.

April 1996 180 yards six iron on the 14th hole at a public course in Utah. Well struck ball started 15 feet right of the hole with a gentle draw. Landed about ten feet short of the hole, released, and rolled into the cup.

I didn't have any particularly positive thoughts prior to the shot, just trying to make a solid swing and forget about the four putt on the previous hole.

Shot an 11 over 82 that day. Too pissed off about the round to even consider framing the ball or scorecard as in those days I regularly shot in the mid-70s. Then that fall I tweaked my back loading a lawn mower into the back of a car and the subsequent swing compensations led to a dark period of very poor play from which I've yet to recover fully. Stupid back.

Only one hole in one, but holed out for eagle on par fours about ten times, once from 230 yards.
