Perhaps John does better in the alcohol free middle east. No other americans in top 20. I would like to see him do well in 2012, starting this weekend.

No such thing.

Saudi and Kuwait are technically dry ... but even there, you can get a drink.

Qatar has legal alcohol sales.

If I understand what's happening, it seems really unfair. The guys who had to play before they called it, including the leader (who lost two shots in his first five holes), were severely penalized by the conditions. Seems like they should throw the whole round out and start over, rather than making some guys keep the scores they shot in unplayable conditions.

Interesting thought. Sounds logical, but I don't think that would ever come to pass. Would like to hear the opinions of some rules gurus on this thought

John is in solo 4th place 6 strokes behind the leader after round 3! Looking good, if he manage not to implode in round 4.

Solid tournament for Daly with a 4th place finish. Maybe he's on the comeback trail again? Hope so.

Yeah, I agree...good job for JD.  The encouraging thing was that he finished strong and didn't get derailed by 1) the +1 2nd round or 2) he rebounded from the 2 bogeys and carded a good round, even though he was out of contention for the win.
