Any thoughts and suggestions on making my swing better and more consistent? I am open to thoughts and ideas and catch on very quickly. I am very familiar with my swing and fix things fairly easily with proper guidance. Anything helps!! Thanks!

There are two videos that play one after the other.

Nice swing overall!

Looks like you bring the club back a little too far inside during the takeaway, try and keep your right arm extended while your turn your back to the target. Upcock your left wrist,as well as turning your right palm up, when your arms are parallel to the ground and your rotation should naturally break your right elbow into the final back swing position around the time your hands get near level with your spine.  Your shoulder rotation will be finished (~90 Degrees) before your backswing is complete.

Good impact position and follow through.

Note: you must stay stable over your right leg through out the backswing.  Don't let your right hemi pelvis cross the arch of your right foot.  It should be rotated towards the target slightly(~20 Degrees) at the top of the back swing.

In the second video your Left arm is angled at your right foot at address.  This means your club shaft has no forward lean which is essential to compress the ball.  This in turn causes your grip to weaken as well.

Align the back of your left hand closer to the instep of your Left foot  This will give you a much better club shaft angle producing more distance and more backspin.

36 handicap? Really?

That is the best 36 handicap swing I've ever seen. Lots of good things.

The Down-The-Line swing is a bit long for my taste. Face On is more to my liking. If you are having consistency issues, shortening up the backswing might help. But man, that is an awfully good swing for a high handicapper. I'm sure as heck not giving you 28 strokes after seeing that on the range.

I am a 8.4 handicap right now.

Thanks for the input guys ill see what I can do and hopefully post some progress.

Any other tips?

It is a good swing for an 8.4 too. I'm still not giving you strokes but is comforting to know you'd only be asking for one or two. It is also comforting to know that I can spot a sandbagger swing when I see one.

The swings you posted seemed pretty good and you said constancy is your issue. What kinds of inconsistency do you see? That might help guys focus their advise.
