Finally bucked up and bought the new Rocketballz. I was going to buy the RBZ 3 wood but I liked the head weight of the r11s so much better so I went with that. Put a Miyazaki Black in it...gonna be sweet. Now if only this damn snow would melt...Chicago winters suck.

Driver: R11s 9 with a Fubuki Tour 63 X-Stiff
Fairway Wood: R11s 15.5 with Miyazaki Kusala Black 83 X-Stiff

Hybrid: taylormade.gif 4 with Fubuki 515 X-Stiff
Irons: titleist.gif Forged 660 3-PW with Dynamic Gold X-100

Did you hit the clubs with the aftermarket shafts on a radar? What kind of numbers were you sporting?

Yeah I brought my Fubuki and tried out the RBZ with it. Launch monitor had a ball speed of 171, launch angle of about 11.7 degrees with a spin rate around 2350. That's a pretty good combination.

The Miyazaki I have not hit yet...I've heard good things about it so I'm taking a chance with it. Got too good of a deal to pass up a quality shaft.

      Day 39: did top golf for an hour with the family. It was fun but also not really like real golf at all. Also did some mirror work - working on the backswing stuff mostly.

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).

      Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
