I always had trouble with my backswing, were the clubhead got behind my hands. I use to roll my wrist over in the backswing and got really flat. The pro i went to tried alot to get my clubhead outside my hands more, but nothing felt good at all. Until i thought, my right wrist has to feel a certain way at the top of the swing for it to be in a good position. So this lead to trying to get the feeling of my right wrist flexing, when i mean is the movement were you bring the top of your hand closer to the top of your forearm. Doing this, my swing felt great, and i noticed that the clubhead stayed away from rotating inside, because i am not rotating my wrist over.

This is a feeling i got that works for me, let me know if you guys think this holds merit, but i think for me its a keeper.

Obviously, if something works for you, you shouldn't (and likely don't!) care what others think.

But yes, this is generally a good feeling for some people. It's likely to increase the rate at which your right elbow flexes initially during the early part of the backswing, as well as to increase the likelihood that your wrists will cock earlier in the backswing. Both things, but particularly the first, will help the right hand to stay a bit more "on top" rather than rolling under so early.

Thank you for sharing the feeling. Others may benefit from having read it.

Yes can definitely be a good one.  But make sure you don't overdo it, just did an evolvr analysis where the student had no pivot and extreme hinging of the wrist to keep the club outside the hands.  Makes it hard to sequence the entire motion.

I doubt that will happen, i don't have an issue with rotation in the golf swing, but i will keep an eye out in case i get to extreme with this move. Would a sign of this be a sudden drop in distance, and maybe casting of the golf club?

I'd say not getting the left shoulder under your chin at the top of the backswing, shots launching lower and yes shorter
