In the kids' world, probably. In the slightly more grown up world, not so much. If Ricky attracts a younger audience, great.

If you first look like a traffic cone, I don't believe using an orange ball would make a whole lot of difference.

It's kinda fun though, the only difference between Ricky and Gary Player is the color.

Wearing all orange is a bit louder though.

Yes, the only difference between Rickie Fowler and Gary Player is orange versus black.

You don't think that the fact that he is using one might give you a clue?

Were you expecting someone to say. "No. Balls have to be white."?

Player wore black to "absorb the energy of the sun".

Fowler wears orange because it's a lucrative marketing ploy. Not quite the same.

Yeah, that smiley was meant to tell it was a joke. :-P (this is not a joke) [quote name="Shorty" url="/t/56183/pros-clarify/18#post_686831"] Player wore black to "absorb the energy of the sun". Perhaps a combination.

Gary Player was (and is) a very kooky guy. And I mean that in a nice way. He had and has some very odd beliefs.

Yeah I know, but some don't. Did you check that list? He put his senior skins games on there too.
