I have the white hot steel two ball blade and its almost perfect for me. Its easy to align and strike but every putt feels and sounds the exact same so I can hit a few putts quite hard past the hole.  I am wondering if anyone has any opinion on the white ice two ball blade?

The White ice has a harder insert than the white hot which has a very soft insert. I think you just need to work on getting the pace of the greens down or maybe look for a lighter putter.

the white hot steel is a metal insert though thats the one I have.  not the normal white hot.  Whenever I putt with my other putter the white hot tour my pace is fine because of the softer insert.  My alignment is just off because its not a two ball putter.

I've had four different #9 putters, two with inserts (White Hot XG and White Ice) and two without (Black Series Tour and currently the ProType Tour). My speed is so much better with a milled face. I also had a tendency to sporadically blow one past the hole with the White Hot/Ice.

I had a white ice last year and had the same problem with blowing one past the hole once in awhile. I bought the Scotty I have now and can control speeds so much better with the milled face. I don't think I'll go back to an insert anytime soon.

I would recommend trying a white hot xg since they have a softer insert and they can be found for relatively cheap.
