I am having the same problem. However, if I go to say, facebook.com on my iPhone it brings me to mobile Facebook. Not sure how I go about using the mobile TST

Nope. Still not working. What is the mobile address?

"my tablet" isn't very specific information. Please: browser name, version, tablet OS version, etc. please.

Thank you. :)

The address is... http://thesandtrap.com/. It's not a separate site or address.

Update:

Quote:

RELEASE UPDATE: the code push is now complete, but we have experienced some server resource issues that are delaying the rollout of automatic-device-detection for everyone.

So for the moment, most sites will NOT automatically switch smartphone users to the Mobile version. We will be working hard to turn this behavior on for all sites ASAP but it will probably roll out slowly, site-by-site.

Thanks for your patience.

I am running a thunderbolt and after testing with a "user agent switcher" I still get no change even with Iphone settings.

Not all of us are computer geeks like you.  Remember, according to jamo, I am old.

Another update:

We've delayed automatic switching for the moment. Pending that, the best way for all users to get mobile access is to give them all the 'mobile beta' permission. [Ed: we won't be doing that - it'd just be for a few hours anyway.] This will at least allow them to see the switch and opt in. We will be doing this on all sites today. Sorry for the confusion.

The "Ed:" part I wrote. The rest is from Huddler.

Very nice site. A little overlap on some of the graphics but is works pretty slick.

    • Bryson got hit with a 2 shot penalty, after the round, for improving his lie on hole 5.  Here is a post on X, showing how he stepped on high grass when he was looking down his target line.  When they cut to the side shot, you can see how close he was behind the ball.  I think the R&A probably made the correct decision. You just have to be really careful when you are walking in the high grass, around the ball and where you are to make a swing.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
