I just saw that Nike ad and man did it stink! Have y'all seen it yet? It's not even worth digitizing for the purpose of showing it to anyone.

Well, I think the ad will need to be given some time to sink in. Maybe it will be like a fine wine and get better over time?

Personally I don't get too excited about anything that includes Tiger Woods anyway, so to each his own.

What were you expecting anyway? With the money Nike had to drop just to get the Masters footage they probably couldn't spend anything else to dress it up much anyway. Either that or Augusta National gave them limitations on what they could do to the footage. Maybe they didn't give Nike any leeway to do anything with it.

Just my worthless two cents anyway.

I think just showing the footage and then zooming out the Nike logo as the ball topples in, with a silkscreened Tiger celebrating in the background, would have been nicer. But I dunno, I just did video editing for a year or two.

I personally like it - shows sense of humor, like previous Nike commercials (see Frank series) - and it's for me the most important thing in commercials. That and boobies (GO COORS !)

The only way I would buy the ball is if they showed Josefin putting oil on Elin around the pool for the advertisement.
