Why do they look so stupid? I can understand having a traditional white suit for them to wear, but does have to be 10x oversized? It looks like they're ready to free jump into a canyon with one of those squirrel suits on.

Maybe the caddies like the extra room and choose to wear them big? Notice how many of them unzip or unbutton them too.

When I've caddied I barely even tie the sides on the old caddie bibs. Tie them tight and it feels weird, since bending your knees in the Masters suits can pull on the material at your shoulders and stuff.

Looks like a bunch of cleaners or painters. A jumpsuit on a golf course just doesn't do it for me.

Now you have me thinking. PGA forbids players to wear  short pants, although those pants called 'plus 4' seem OK if long socks also worn. Caddies, on PGA tour permitted to wear short pants though many need to lose 40 lbs to look good.  But, the Master's is  private and not run by the PGA (i think this is correct) so maybe the players could wear short pants or even the traditional kilt, which would look good on some of the lads, maybe not Jimanez.  I would love to see some bearded Scot in tartan kilt strolling up the 18th, hairy legs for all to admire.

Not too traditional.  The sporran would get in the way of the swing, I think.

No one wears shorts at ANGC--not even the members.  Also good to note that it's closed from May-Oct.

Pretty sure those are the same caddy uniforms that they've been wearing since the 1930s.  Must be a thing with stuffy old clubs, because I've played a few others who have caddies that wear similar getups.

    • Day 19 - 2026-01-08 10 minutes of net work. Feeling very good about changes but need to film soon. Next few days will be indoor mirror work as we head into the mountains.
    • Day 6: 2026.01.09 Some swing work in the mirror. Need to work on home setup to be able to get more out of evenings where I can't make it to the range.
    • I would like to amend my original comment on the new Maxfli irons. Yes, $800 for forged irons is a pretty good price and they do feel good BUT...I have since found out that $800 is only for off the shelf, standard issue clubs with standard lengths, lofts, lies and shafts. Any change made from stock results in huge up-charges so that the final price ends up pretty much the same as similar forged irons from any of the major manufacturers.
    • These were almost all included on the list of Clarifications or revised Model Local Rules released just a few days ago.  I'm pretty sure the first 3 are brand new MLRs (Moved/Wrong Place, Embedded Ball in someone else's pitch mark, Internal OB applies only to tee shot) that the PGA Tour is choosing to use.  The 16.1 Rule (relief near a Putting Green) was revised allowed a Committee to give relief for more than just Immoveable Obstructions, microphone holes would be classed as GUR (a hole made by the maintenance staff).  The replacement club rule was available before, the E-3 (Lift Clean and Place distance) could have been defined as "one scorecard" before, they're just a change in how the PGA choices. Here are the January 1 Clarifications and revised MLRs https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules-hub/clarifications-of-the-rules-of-golf.html#cp
