Has anyone hit this shaft? I will probably be crazy to buy it but a fool and his money are soon parted I guess. Any opinions?

what head?......ive swung it in an adams head and its pretty active......If you've got the power it kicks pretty well.......not gonna knock your teeth out and boardy.  If I were gonna compare it, I would say that a whiteboard is rigid, the oban devotion is smooth, and the project x is active or lively....you can feel it working

Titleist 910D3 head. From some of the reviews I have read they say it is a very low spin shaft and hits well.

I've hit that head......wrenched down on its adjustability stuff and set wide open, that head spins less with a heavier diamana ahina x.

I have a Project X 7C3 in my Sonartec SS-2.5 15* 3wood... I absolutely love it .

I hit it so well that I am going to change the shaft in my driver b/c it doesn't make since for me to hit my 3 wood 250yards, and then I can only hit my driver 10 yards longer.

How do you like that Devotion stick?

I LOVE my devotion shaft...........it takes whatever I can throw at it.   it is the smoothest loading and unloading shaft for something that is nearly long drive stiff.....my fitter has one in a stiff flex and loves it.......tightest dispersion for any shaft I've seen.

I tested the 910D3, it was a 9.5 degree like my normal driver. I had it dialed down to the lowest setting and a Diamana 65 gr kai'li shaft. It was even worst than my Matrix Ozik shaft.

Please tell me that the 65 gm shaft was some sort of "made-for" shaft.  I'm about to shell out a lot of money for the Kai'li 60gm shaft in a new Ping G20.

Well it is a custom shaft option for the 910 drivers. It depends on what you want for ball flight.

It looks like the 60gr you are talking about is a low mid launch and mid on spin. Whereas the 65 I used today was a mid/mid.

Just for reference, my current shafts stats: Matrix Ozik Xcon 5.5 Tip Mid / 3.1° / 60g

yeah.....not a long drive specific shaft........it is a normal length shaft.  it is oban's "6 flex" or "tour x stiff"  which is like xx to xxx range.  I play it at 44 " assembled with the adams head (see sig).  I believe it is an available option for the 910d3 if you are going to order it from titleist, even if it is through a retailer........I know a few folks that play the shaft in various flexes and I've never heard anything but amazement and love.......kinda like a "once you've tried it, you'll understand the difference" type of thing

im currently playing a Titleist 910D2 9.5* with the ProjectX 7C3 shaft (46" 73gram 6.0 tip stiff) and i love it. i switched from a 907D2 with the 45" ys-6+ stiff and picked up 12 yards of carry.

also just ordered a new 910F 15* 3wood with the ProjectX 8C4 shaft (43" 82gram 6.0 stiff) and was carrying it 250yards+ set to A1. I personally love the ProjectX shafts in the driver/woods. have yet to hit them in any irons but very much considering upgrading my ap1's to some new CB's with the ProjectX 6.0 rifles (+1/2, 2*up)

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
