Pretty stoked about it got on for $60 only three weeks after the champions tour was here so the place should be prime. Looks like a grwat course. I want to play the tips but havent got my 3 wood yet so ill stick to mids which is 6600. Thats plenty long for almost everyone. Ill let you guys know what the course is like when i get back tomorrow still hoping to break 80 for the first time since getting back into the game.

CMan great club. Super hard front nine but the back was just as fun. The wind was killer making a lot of holes longer then they said. Greens were lightning fairway were very fast. Immaculate condition. There was some alligators on the back that made it even cooler.,overall great experience great layout but very difficult. I shot a 92 15 over front 5 ober back.,had a lot of fun sorry for typos im on my phone

I used to live about 1.5 miles from this course (unfortunately with a giant river in the way), and played it frequently.  It was always one of my favorites in the area, with phenomenal conditions and perfect greens, even in the winter.  The wind was brutal in the winter, though--and it was stifling hot in the summer.  Tended to get crowded and expensive.

The front 9 does have some tough holes:  the green on the first is tiny, sloped, and surrounded by thick rough; the tee shot on 2 (long par-4) is really tough; 3 is a 250-yard par-3; the tee shot on 4 (medium par-5) is also really hard; 6 is one of the hardest holes in the area--a long par-4 into a hurting crosswind with a microscopic landing area just to have a shot at the tiered, hourglass-shaped green; 7 is a 630-yard par-5.  The back 9 seems a lot easier on paper, but I always seemed to have more trouble on the back than the front.

Really fun course, though, and one of the best golf areas in the US.  You're only a half-hour drive from the Bluffton corridor, and another 20 minutes past that to Hilton Head.

    • Day 135: worked on putting bead for a while with the 2 cups drill.
    • Day 211 (29 Nov 24) - Friday men’s round albeit a solo foursome (temps in the 40’s, day after Thanksgiving and the average age closer to 75 - I’m a youngster at 65).  Interesting day of semi-solid play (8 of 18 GIR). Hit all four par threes in one (a first) - parred each; still had a couple 3 putt bogies; and blew up on 3 of the par 5’s (go figure)). The blow ups were some serious tree rattlers - amplifying how I got stupid and greedy instead of smart and content to just get back in the short stuff.
    • Day 60 - 2024-11-29 Got about 3.5' of snow today, so I was going to go to Golf Evolution, but… I only left the house to throw some snow. Instead, i checked out my putting stroke on HackMotion in the basement. Turns out… it's pretty good, and I'm very in touch with what I'm doing.
    • First time playing this game, Spanish is my native language. It was impossible for me. After 4 worlds I run out of worlds that have the letters I've already found that can be combined with the remaining letters.. just repeated the 4th world to knew the answer. I know the world but it never came to my mind.
