I recently picked up an adams a12 pro hybrid with a Ozik Matrix altus stiff shaft. I like how the club feels but i didn't get to hit it with the Aldila RIP shaft. If anyone could explain the difference in these two shaft options I would really appreciate it.\

Thanks

I love my RIP in my A12 Pro, but MVMAC is right:  it's a stiffer feeling, low-launch shaft.  This is the first hybrid I've ever owned where I can control the traj, low or high, and hit both draws and fades.  What a great club!!

I actually hit a 220-yard bullet with a tight draw, into about a 20-MPH wind, last Thursday with this club.  Was on the 11th at Turtle Bay Palmer, hands down the toughest hole on the course.  It's a 460-yard 4-par, dogleg right, with a creek running the right side of the hole.  The second is played into the teeth of the wind, slightly cornering from the left.  Had a 12-footer for my only birdie ever on that hole.  It was sweet--and I've never been able to hit that shot (that far into such a strong wind) with any other club.

I've always been afraid to hit a draw into the wind with a hybrid, because they have so much hook-bias you could end up 50-yards left.  Not with this club.
