Best and cheapest is all relative as used balls are rated differently. I always check eBay, I find that has the best prices and with PayPal they have protect the buyer very well.

I've used lostgolfballs a couple of times and been very satisfied. Cheap and the balls are in as good of condition or better than advertised.

I was buying from Knetgolf, but found lostgolfballs too. Is it better to buy their 2nd grade ? Seems like the3rd grade is like xouts

I bought all my used balls off Ebay this year for the first time.  I only purchased the "near mint" or "aaaaa" grade and they were all like new and only one or two in the sets (1 of 100 and 1 of 50) looked like they had ever been hit.  I ended up paying 35-50 cents on the dollar and I know I could have done better if I hadn't gone for the "mint" class and been just as happy.  Much better than buying them for $40/12

golfballnut.com is where i do all of my recycled golf ball shopping.  i ordered a box of 48 titleist pro v1x's several months ago and figured i'd get the usual assortment of slightly scuffed, slightly off color golf balls since i had purchased the grade one notch below "mint."  well, i couldn't tell that they weren't mint when i opened them.  no scuffs, no discoloration... i would have sworn someone had just emptied out a bunch of sleeves of new balls into the box.  i've ordered from them 3 times in the past year now and been quite satisfied every time.

My only recommendation is to always look at recycled rather than refurbished golf balls if you're buying used.  See below.

I second this.  I have made one purchase so far (of 3 dozen prov1x) and was really satisfied.  I bought the highest grade ones (AAAAA) for something like $25 a dozen.  I think it was a great deal like that.  Virtually new balls for about 50% off retail, and as a bonus they send me emails with discount coupons so the next purchase should be even cheaper.

i always ask for golfballs for holidays, it's an easy gift and i end up with a surplus. my rule is i start out with two bridgestones e6's in my pocket and once those are gone then i only use found balls or mojo's (i have almost 100 mojos).

in other news, i invested in a ball grabber and after two outings i have recovered 20 golf balls including 2 pro v1x's. it's a shame they'll be used as my backyard chipping practice balls.

Leave water balls alone - there is a reason that they are in the water. There is an unwritten rule on the golf course that you can not ball hunt until you are a single digit handicap or turn 70 (whichever comes first)

Lostgolfballs.com it is then.  I'd probably get the 2nd grade, since my driver is pretty wild and I may lose balls very fast.

ANyone has a coupon to share?

the coupon does work and there is free shipping over $75, which i recommend you do if you're buying quantity because the shipping cost is pretty high.

    • It's really hard to argue against the Tiger Woods 2000 swing.  I like Rory's swing. And, I've always liked Joaquin Niemann's swing. Although, if I tried to mimic Niemann's swing I'd probably end up in traction for 2 months. I was kinda bummed when he went to LIV cuz I almost never see it anymore.  At the other extreme, I can't look at Bryson when he plays. Even if it's very effective, it's coyote-ugly to watch.  I'd rather watch Charles Barkley than Bryson. ....
    • Thank you for that information,I would have loved to see him in person
    • I think he was always kind of like that - he hit it off the planet relatively frequently throughout his career. I saw him play a couple of times. One time at Walton Heath in the European Open. He was playing the 13th on the Old (dogleg right par 5) and his drive had gone through the fairway and found a patch of grass in the woods there to the left (the woods have now gone). He had an opening to play back to the fairway. Maybe 25 yards to reach the fairway and 65 yards to run through the other side. He was maybe 230 yards away from the green, but the trees made sure that was not a viable option (at least that's what I thought at the time). He pulled out a pretty long iron - probably a 3 and gave it a full blooded thrash. I watched this ball come out straight for about 40 yards and then it just turned hard left, but stayed in the air (still not sure how he did that). He started the ball at a point that must have been 100 yards right of the green and hooked it basically that whole 100 yards and the ball wound up on the front of the green.  Shotmaking he was pretty much peerless. Not sure his swing was ever technically solid. Flowing and fun to watch yes, but not one you'd want to copy.  As to the question, I have heard a few people suggest that Mickey Wright had the best swing ever. Frank Nobilo had a pretty sweet looking one. Bruce Lietzke's was pretty cool - he managed to maintain PGA Tour playing rights with basically little to no work on his game - got to be a lot said for that.
    • A lot of us on this forum are hyper competitive, we just know not to break things that don't belong to us! that is why I stated "a person with a poor attitude grows up with no consequences" it is not all entitlement.
    • Yea, it is a cult following. Especially with the YouTube golf personalities using them. They did great marketing in a space that not many other golf clubs are getting into yet. Especially for putters.  I tried them out at Golf Galaxy before; I can't stand them look of them.
