Thankfully i've almost never been paired with smokers, generally when people get high they don't really pay attention to what their doing on the course walking when you're hitting and so on.

There are quite a few high school golfers that show up to competitions pretty blazed and go out to shoot sub 40.

I have not seen it while playing in recent years, but it would not bother me in the least. When I was in college, me and my buddies would light it up. My game would go to hell, so I gave it up when playing. I quit golf for a number of years and shot competitive archery. Tried it shooting archery and could not have the level of concentration I needed to shoot my best. Gave it up altogether in 2001.

I think that's something stoners just make up for an excuse to smoke wherever they want.

Wow, I've never heard of such a thing. I've seen a couple of threads which have taken me by surprise, the other being "would you play music on a golf course?" And I've got to say it's truly bazzar talk. You guys are playing on courses with rules, dress codes and etiquette as well?

I'm pretty liberal but the whole idea of smoking a joint on the golf course is about as foreign to me as flinging a bag of steaming poop at my playing partner.

Zeesh.

You have a picture of a racist establishment as your avatar. That is worse than weed.

No, a picture of Amen corner in your avatar is not worse than smoking weed on a golf course. Perhaps you've had too much off the stuff...

Yes. Augusta is a terribly bigoted and racist establishment. You must be new to golf if you did not know this. What is worse: weed or racism?

Someone better tell Tiger - could be dangerous for him to play there....  Augusta doesn't allow women, but they haven't been accused of racism in quite some time, maybe you partake too much....

Yeah, you are correct, augustais not racist. And I have a bridge in brooklyn to sell you. And if you're dumb enough tobelievethat Augusta is not racist, they still mistreat women. But Weed is the real evil. Not bigots.

i would not stay grouped with them.  the smell of the devils lettuce gives me a really bad headache, it always has.  ive never tried it, so i dont know what it would do for your game or anything else for that matter.  if your going to do it, dont play slow and dont throw the unused portion or your joint on the ground, lol.

Hopefully Erik will just delete these last few off topic posts and when I wake up tomorrow this will just have been a nightmare.
