Does anyone know of or possibly use a rain glove that is not black in color ?

My Footjoy Rain Gloves are fine, although I often have to repair left palm...

What I want is a rain glove in white to use on those hot days where sweat is a problem.

So far I found some Zero Restriction rain gloves with white backs/black palms?

Anyone ever used this Zero Restriction rain gloves ?

Any of the synthetic gloves okay for sweaty days ???

Thanks.

As far as not wanting to sweat through and ruin your good white gloves, carry more? I rotate 5 gloves during a round so they don't go to hell from sweat. It's rather pricey to go out and get half a dozen at once but it's worth it in the longer run.

Rotating gloves is an excellent suggestion and a possibility...

but it would be expensive to add right handed gloves to usual LH gloves...

Fact is I usually play gloveless other than rain or hot weather...

The wet feeling of the thin leather gloves does not give me confidence.

Besides the Zero Restriction gloves I have found Orlimar Rain Gloves...

Orlimar Rain Gloves have a textured palm.... is that even legal ???

Powerbilt also makes a cheap rain glove but it to is black...

FootJoy seems to have cornered the market... Pro shops & Sporting Goods stores.

Curious....

Do you Bionics on both L and R hand for rainy conditions ???

Never tried a Bionic on...

Do you usually go up a size because of the padding, etc?

Maybe I will hunt down a Bionic to try on...

My right gloves from Footjoy always hold up... so I have extra extra rights.

Its the left glove that always tears in palm...

Lately I have been super gluing a surgical tape 'patch' to the palm for durability.

Might try a Bionic on left... matched with Right from Footjoy.

Also didn't realize Bionic's came in multiple styles... Any preference ?

Thanks.

I only use left hand gloves. I still buy M which fit fine for me. The padding in the fingers, to me, makes me feel that the club is more secure. As far as different styles... I get the ones that are primarily white with black and blue markings offered at golf galaxy. Either they don't have others where I go or I am focused to not notice the others haha.

Well, I know I'm coming to the discussion exactly 3 years after it started....

Still, I'm not only wondering why black is the only color for rain gloves, but I'm also wondering why they can't be bought as singles?  That is, why do we need to buy gloves for both hands?

I'm using a single left hand rain glove during the summer in hot and humid Wilmington, NC to fight sweat and keep a grip on the club.  The right hand rain gloves I have to buy?  Um, I'm collecting them in a drawer....

Seems there would be a pretty decent market for Foot-Joy to serve in the summertime South -- make "rain gloves" in a lighter color, and sell "two packs" with two left hand gloves for 22 bucks per package.

If Foot-Joy won't, will a competitor?

    • Day 7: got out my chipping net and worked on chipping in the living room for a solid 15 minutes. Worked on mostly low shots, but mixed in a couple of high shots as well.
    • Day 228 4-4 More hip/chest turn and wrist arching. Working on hinging wrist a bit later. Foam balls.
    • Day 27 (4 Apr 26) - Worked with grandson on basic pitches/punches in the back yard with varied irons/wedges.  Wrapped up the day rolling some putts on the 30’ carpet I can set up in the yard to give varied terrain - and this carpet rolls almost too easy. A great way to figure a read and know that pace has to be near perfect to get in the hole.
    • A bit of a struggle today.  Just some thoughts/musings.  For the backswing, it is like I am never going to be moving on from this. I don't know if I can ever get to the point where the backswing isn't like over 1.5 seconds in duration. Which is probably not ideal. I would like to get to the point where I can just fling the arms back and up.  I have to feel like my hands are going to hit my right thigh from P1 to P2. If not then they like to move 2-5 inches towards the ball from P1 to P2. Then it's just bad from there. This feeling is my hands not gaining much depth, just maintaining depth from set up. From the DTL view, the hands head towards the camera.  While I am doing that, hinge the crap out of the club with my wrist only. Hinge in a way that the club is pointing at the camera at P2.  From P2, lift the hands straight up. I can get here, and still roll the club inside and get it way too shallow.  With the downswing. There isn't much here. I still can't get the flow of this or the sequencing of this to line up. It doesn't help that hinging from P1 to P2 just throws off my entire timing as well.
