Well I've been wanting to do this for a few years now and my fiance graduates nursing school after this year so I think I may get the chance to finally make it down there.

I'm looking into the Orlando campus, anyone here been there and have any feedback on the school?

Is it worth the $30,000 that it will cost me start to finish or should I go a different route?

Thanks

Let me get this straight, you're going to pay $30,000 to go to school for a job that will pay $12 an hour plus lessons (if you can book em)?  It takes a long time and a lot of hard work to make real money on the golf business.

I guess if you major in fine arts.  I'd say the same thing to that person.  Only thing is, they aren't specifically studying for a job that will require them to perform manual labor, like picking the range and washing golf carts.

Yeah I don't know. If I could do it over I'd trade my 6 figure income and the debt that comes with it to have less everything, specifically the stress. If someone can get by working in that industry and is happy doing it I say good on them. I've contemplated retiring to a condo near an out of the way golf course and embarking on my new career welcoming customers to Starbucks.

Find a PGA pro under which you can apprentice and just enter the program that way. The "colleges" don't really do much for you that you can't do yourself (for about $10k or less, and work at your own pace).
