I don't think so. Too many putts is what's causing the problem in the first place.

I don't know Greg. If you lobby hard enough maybe the USGA will make the hole 7" wide like jshots wants? :D

I had 37 putts today with three 3 putts.  The guys I was playing with starting calling me "lips".   It was maddening.

Oh and did I tell you that the greens were "SLOW"?  I hate bent grass greens when it's 100 degrees outside.  I am so glad that my home course has switched to Champion Bermuda.  When it reopens in a couple of weeks the greens will be fast.  [/rant]
