Well, I took it to the driving range last week and I bombed it! I hit everything really far and pretty straight for the most part.

I took it out Friday and played my first 9 with it. I couldn't have stunk it up anymore! I had the stinkin duckhooks like crazy! I hit 1 fairway, but that was a mishit that only went about 225 yards or so.

I did hit two drives that actually had good contact, and they traveled forever. They just ended up really right. I did have a 15 foot eagle putt on my last hole of the day, but overall, I just stunk it up big time.

It was frustrating because I had hit it so well on the driving range. I just don't know what I'm doing to duckhook everything. My old driver was graphite shafted originally, and I hit it the same way. I got a steel shaft put on it, and I hit it beautifully.

I will practice with this driver until I get it fixed, but it is frustrating...

So the driver is great, but the person who is using it isn't!!!

Cody: I had a similar experience with the 905T the first time out. On the range, I was striping it. First hole: I hit the fairway; the fairway left of the hole I was playing, that is. It took 9 holes to get the driver really dialed in, and for me to find my tempo (I was overswinging).

Second 9 holes I hit some sweet drives and found the fairway more regularly. Hope you experience a similar improvement.

I'm really digging the YS-6+ shaft, too. Great "kicky" feel.

Well, I now have a couple rounds under my belt using the 905, and I am much improved. I am still not hitting it quite as far as I think I can, but I am putting it in the fairway and getting some good solid roll.

I am very happy with my improvement, and I guess it just took some getting used to. The head on my other driver was about half the size as the one on my 905. I just had to start teeing it up higher and swinging softer, and things have worked out for me...
