You are correct that there are a lot of Priuses down here, but I don't agree with your generalizations ... except maybe the first one.  That makes sense, because if you are buying the car to save gas

My wife didn't understand where my rage stemmed from regarding the Prius until we drove up to Vermont for vacation. "Those things just seem to find you don't they?" was what she said about 2 days into our vacation. I HATE THOSE CARS.

its not as a bad as a smart car tho...

Smart cars probably has the worst transmission. You get whiplash when it shifts from 1st to 2nd. But at least they know well to stay out of the fast lane unlike the Prius.

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

True story

My neighbor in FL rented a smart while in Europe, only to have the trans literally and physically fall out of the car while he was driving. He called the rental company, they showed up with a replacement. 2 hours later, while driving, the same thing happened on the second one.

He called the rental company again, they showed up..............with an Opel. Problem solved

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
