Who else fights a constant swing flaw?

Exactly, no one's swing is perfect.  Everyone has compensation move they have to deal with.  Look at Tiger, he's won tournaments with four different golf swings and still fears hitting it left.

For your own game, find what the priority piece is and focus on that.  There is a good chance you're not lifting your head to watch the ball, it's a reaction to something else going on in your swing.

mvmac, I actually think I may be over practicing. I am aware of what I do wrong when I do it but I've ingrained the flaws into my head so hard it's a tough mental block to break.

On my 14 off each month, I probably spend 20 hours on the range and play 10 rounds. Now it's improved my chipping and putting tremendously even though it's very mundane work but hopefully I'll be able to drop some strokes with some consistency by improving those two portions. What gets me is my iron inconsistency so I work and work and work on it day in and day out and on certain days it's so great I feel like I'm swinging on the PGA and then I let my brain go on autopilot and revert back to my bad habits and there it goes again.
