I have been working with my breath to keep my tempo consistent through out my swing. It is bare minimalism, I practice so much that my swing is there i just need to keep the tempo consistent.

Drive up to ball, check yardage, get club. Club hit ball.

It's that simple. When I try to over-complicate things and crowd my brain with thoughts, I am more likely to mishit the ball.

I don't slow down - slowing down only causes me to lose balance and pull (or hook) my shots. And, I rarely take divots with my irons. I'll scratch the grass and you'll know where my club was, but I can't grow a vegetable garden with anything I take up.
