Who here has Popped the Range Pickers Cherry?

I used to work at courses. The first time a ball hit the roof of my range picker I was about 250 and I thought someone shot at me or something! It will give you a heart attack every time! Good memories.

Makes a Man Outta the Range Pickers :P

its pretty hard to hit one because in my local range it goes side to side!

We were at the range a couple months ago and my kids wanted me to try and hit it. He was about 80 yards out and I punched my 6 Iron. I just missed him on the first two tries and then caught him square with my third attempt. My kids thought it was hillarious.

My 6 iron is the club I use when I need to punch out and still try to advance the ball. I figured that a high loft left too much to timing. OK, it was actually blind luck, but my kids liked it.

The last 5 balls in my dad's and my bucket are strictly for shooting at thee range cart. My dad's bitter at the range pickers who get to drive around in carts. He used to work at a driving range that didn't have a cart for the range picker when he was a teenager...he quit after taking a rising three wood to the chest.
