I've been Playing Golf for around 10 years.

My current handicap index or average score is scratch.

My typical ball flight is a draw.

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is the snap hook.

My swing can be found on the link below.  Just looking for any friendly tips that could make me a better and more consistent player. Thanks

Are you a 4 HC or a scratch?  I am not able to use the video tools in IE, but here is what I can tell.  The only thing I can really tell is that at the top your elbows seem to come apart and your right one goes too far behind.  Your club probably wraps too far back around behind you for many instructors as well, but I am not sure on that.  You have a very smooth tempo with what looks to be a fairly steady head and balance.

As you said scratch swing. Simillar to mine but yours has more lag which requires you to move your body more quickly and technically.

Wonderful swing still. Smooth nice tempo even with a long iron.

Kudos.

    • Nothing is assured and lots of talented young athletes in many sports fail to achieve greatness. as was said, injuries, growth, lots of things can come into play, And let’s let honest, over the years a few players have been branded “The Next Tiger Woods” and yet there is only 1 Tiger Woods. My initial point was if he can do a great breakout it may capture the attention of a new generation.  Back in the 70s it was Secretariat in horse racing, we also had Jordan in basketball and let’s not forget Tiger for golf.  Stories get people interested and I think golf needs a new story. I will pull for him and hope it works out but there are so many factors that come into play you just do not know, But I can hope.
    • Day 114: 4/19/24 Chipping and putting practice. Tried a little hinge and hold with good results, which has never been the case during a real round. Playing tomorrow and eager to play.
    • I don't think I've found any of the Good Good stuff, or the guys that were once a part of it, very interesting.
    • Day 535, April 19, 2024 30 minutes in the middle of the day while doing errands and a bunch of other things. Behind. Behind.
    • Day 127 (19 Apr 24)  -  Played in the Friday Men's group today.  While I shoot 82, it was a pretty solid round with 10 pars, 5 bogies and 3 doubles.  I really hated the doubles - but each one was followed by a par come back, so "accepting" the number has really begun to pay off and not letting it get to me on the following hole in thinking "I have to get that stroke back".
