Monday and Tuesday aren't bad, but by the time Wednesday arrives I really start itching to get out on the course.  There's a saying about men thinking about sex once every six seconds or something like that, and for me, that's probably true on Monday and Tuesday.  By Wednesday I'm too busy thinking about golf.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I just wish it would warm up. I played two Sunday's ago and it's been raining or really cold every day since (that I could get out). I'm playing 9 Friday after work no matter what. Hopefully Saturday or Sunday too.

Be grateful you can golf at all in March. I woke up to -20 C with a north wind making it feel like -35 C. I won't be golfing until late April at the earliest with the amount of snow on the ground :(

I will be hitting some balls at the simulator tomorrow but it's really not the same.

I missed all last weekend being out of town.  I walked 8 holes yesterday afternoon/evening (had to skip a group on 6 to make sure I got back before dark!).  Due to weather (actual and projected) and other plans I can't move around, I may go two full weeks with no golf, and it's driving me nuts to think about it.

Especially since yesterday, for the first time in ages, I hit my driver with accuracy and distance for the first time in a very long time.  Started reading Zen Golf...not sure if it was just a coincidence or what since I only got about 20 pages in, but I just don't want to lose that feeling.

    • Day 259: did mirror work while watching TV. Trying some wrist feels while trying not to lose the lower body stuff.
    • Day 3 (5 Apr 25) - long day with setup and rehearsal for band’s church service gig tomorrow.  Got home to hit a very chippy wedges (from about 10ft to out to 40yds or so).  Focus was simple - feel the bounce and quiet hands.
    • Day 187 - 2025-04-05 Got my time in today. Hoping to get a little more time in tomorrow, though. May get there early.
    • Day 14: 4/5/25 Putting through 50 mm gates.
    • While on vacation in Punta Cana a few weeks ago I played with rental clubs, Mizuno Pro 245's with KBS Tour Lite steel shafts. Surprisingly, I was blown away, not only by the distance, trajectory and dispersion I was getting but also about how soft and buttery they felt. It got me thinking.... IT'S TIME FOR NEW IRONS! Just yesterday, at my local Golf Galaxy, I tested them again side by side with the JPX Forged (recommended by the Mizuno rep who happened to be there) which also felt pretty good. Not as buttery soft as the 245's but they did produce slightly better numbers on off-center hits. Also, I haven't played with forged clubs with steel shafts in 10 years thinking I was getting too old and that I needed the lighter weight but these clubs with that shaft felt really, really good. So that's my long and drawn-out intro to my question: Does anyone here at TST play with either of these clubs and if so, what's your opinion?
