I would like to post a "for sale" add. It will not let me. I read the rules. So why wont it let me post?

You have 10 posts. You didn't read the rules very carefully.

so since I am "just a registered user" I am not allowed to advertise? So what do I do to up my ststus on this site to be able to advertise some of my equiptment?

This site is not for the sole purpose of selling stuff. You need to be an actual productive member by contributing to other threads in other parts of the forums.

wow!! you really have a very difficult time understanding questions for some reason. First of all your rules do not PLAINLY STATE how many posts you must have. "READ YOUR RULES"!! I asked a simple question as to how many post I must have and instead of being polite and just answering my question, you have to offer me a "dig". Then I ask how to up my status on here so that I may be allowed to advertise, and you completely skirt the question by explaining to me what the intent of this site is all about.

I DO take time and look over what other golfers have to say about topics on here, and have found them quite delightful. Maybe you should take a few lessons, and I am not talking about golf lessons, and try to be a bit more helpful, instead of trying to just insult people. But its all explained when I see that you are from Erie, Pennsylvania. I live just south of you an hours drive. I have played a few amateur tournaments with people from Erie, and found them to be arrogant. (sorta like yourself).

If your main reason for joining the site is to advertise then this might not be the right place for you. Trying to say that as politely as I can.

I enjoy reading what other golfers have to say about different courses and all. I don't just use a site to sell items which I rarely do. I thought I asked a simple question and got what I would call, and other people a "negative" response. If you do not allow me to sell golf items that is just fine. There is other places I can go. But usually sites like this you can find more of what I call trusting people. I am an avid skeet shooter, trapshooter, and rifle shooter and find that sites dedicated to the sport, (like yours), is a better place to buy.

Hope that helps.

Seems pretty clear to me golfer2b2000.

BTW your reputation is now mysteriously a 9 instead of the 10 required to reach Established Member status.

Arrogance has nothing to do with this. You didn't read the rules despite saying you had. It's the first link in the first paragraph of the rules at the top of the Marketplace forum.
