So I'm having a bit of an issue when I drive the ball, especially when hitting into the wind.  I'm getting the ball too high into the air on most drives and it's costing me yardage.  I use a 10.5 degree driver, and I'm sure buying a new one with less loft would help, but do any of you have tips on what I might be doing wrong?  It's limiting my drives to about 200-230 yards when there is no wind.

In my bag:
Driver - Diablo Octane 10.5*
Fairway Wood - Diablo Octane 15*
Hybrid -  Edge 21*
Irons - X20's 4I - 9I
Wedges - X20's PW/SW
Putter - White Ice 1
Ball - Warbird

The angle of attack could be too far down, causing shots to spin too much.  Make sure the weight is forward and a good feel is to feel the handle of the club raising into the followthrough.  Check out this video for Key #3 Flat Left Wrist, the second video.

You might not need a different driver, the solution might be as simple as teeing your ball a little lower.

Drivers: Bag 1 - TM R11 (10.5°); Bag 2 - Ping G5 (9°),
Fairway woods: #1 - TM RBZ Tour (14.5°) & TM System 2 Raylor (17°); #2 - TM Burner (15°) & TM V-Steel (18°)
Hybrid: #1 - TM Rocketballz (19°); #2 - Ping G5 (19°)
Irons: #1 - Ping i3+; #2 - Hogan Edge  (both 4-pw, +1" shaft)
Wedges: #1 - Ping i3+ U wedge (52°) & Ping Eye 2+ BeCu (60°); #2 - Ping ISI Sand BeCu (52°) & Cleveland CG11 lob (60°)
Putters: Ping B60i & Anser 2, Odyssey White Steel 2-Ball & White Hot XG #9, Lamkim Jumbp grips
Golf Balls: Titleist Pro V1, Bridgestone B330, Callaway SR1, Slazenger Grips: Lamkin Crossline
Golf Shoes: Footjoy & Adidas; Golf Glove: Footjoy StaSof®; Golf Bag: Ping Hoofer
I love this game! :-D

That would probably tend to make it worse.  Teeing it lower will make guys hit down more, meaning more spin.  Rather he tee it super higher and feel like he raises the handle into the followthrough.

I've
You might not need a different driver, the solution might be as simple as teeing your ball a little lower.
ive found that teeing it lower didn't help. It didn't hurt either but....
