I am located in Carroll County, MD.  After a 15 year break from golf, time to start back.  I just can't find my swing again :)  Any suggestion on instructors/lessons in MD?  I travel all over MD for work, so location is not that important.

I'm from Maryland, even though I've been out of a state for a while. i was having a lot of trouble with my driver and i went to nighthawk near crofton/bowie and took a lesson from John Siegenthaler. this was a few years ago, but it was the first time i was filmed by a pro. he had an ipad, took some videos, and showed me my swing. a few tweaks and videos later i was starting to get after it. basically he took a absolute mess and cleaned it up into a playable swing in 30 minutes. i never got to follow up and my swing has gone in and out since then, but it was definitely worth the price of admission.

i would also recommend evolvr. i did it for a couple months while researching stack and tilt and different versions of it and it really changed the way i play. i didn't get to play enough last year (or at all this year, thanks april blizzards) to really improve my scores like i know i can, but it made golf a lot less frustrating for me. i wanted to get some new wedges before i move and i'm not going to have time to play before then so i went to get fitted and i was very worried because i haven't really played since late october, but the evolr/SnT/whatever swing i learned last year got me hitting nice (simulator) golf shots within 5 swings. i've had some back problems and a weird knee thing and the swing really helps to keep me pain free as opposed to my old swing.

the evolvr does require some equipment and is done through a computer so if you want a human that can get hands on it might not be for you, but it really helped me and i look forward to getting my score down with a lot of rounds this year.

My ball is anything on sale

My close friend got instruction at nighthawk as well and his game improved drastically in under a year, nighthawk instructors are highly recommended in the Crofton area

If you go to the waverlywoods.com web site, there is an instructor named George bradford who plays on the Canadian tour. Watching him strike the ball is amazing, he also is a very good teacher and super friendly. I've not taken lessons from him, but I've seen him turn some pretty bad swings good.
