hi, first I'll tell you a bit about my ball flight. Inconsistensy is a big problem for me. I hit the ball anywhere from 150 to 280 yrds. Sometimes it goes way up high, sometimes it flies barely 6 feet off the ground. A lot of times, especially lately, I push or slice the ball. Looking to add some consistency and power to my swing anybody got any tips thatd be great!

Hey there, i notice one thing so far, is that at the finish of your swing i can see most of your weight is on your back foot, try finishing the swing on your front foot. It can give you more balance and stability. I can honestly tell you i dont know how to do this but it will definatly help.

Your shoulder turn and arm extension doesn't look natural/comfortable. It may be causing multiple problems including unhinging right arm on the downsing - this would kill power, deloft clubface.

I am also left handed, started playing young, and spend alot of time video taping my swing and watching it in the mirror. Looks like you have alot of flexibility and potential. I suggest investing any money you spend toward golf in lessons . That is my best tip.

It's a good swing to build on, very good. You do a lot of good swings (alot of turn and some leg action for power) but you also do a couple bad things I noticed. You need to finish your swing, such as dent mentioned, and make sure you don't take the club too far back - granted it's your driver but it still really shouldn't be past parrell.

need to watch the leg action on this swing. a ton of leg action. will give you some more power, but will likely cause a lot of inconsistancy, and will be harder to replicate under pressure.

one reason u may be hitting it left (slice or push) may be becuz ur hips are very fast. if u notice in the broken down pictures (#7) you can tell how far ahead ur hips are. at that point u should be making contact with the ball

edit: i just noticed ur avy... im assuming that is a picture of u. notice where the hips are? about the same spot as in the pic i mentioned above but also notice where ur hands are at, that looks much better.

There is a lot of information missing, because there is no down the line view. You should get yourself from that angle.

Overall, you have a very good start and I think a lot of talent. A couple things:

You are overswinging (the club almost touches your knee at the top), and then because of that getting some reverse pivot. You should tighten up your backswing. Work to make a full 90 degree shoulder turn, your left foot on the ground and keep the club parallel to the ground at the top of your swing. Make sure you turn (pivot) around the point in the spine that is between your shoulder blades.

There are a few more things to work on, but one thing at a time.

You do have a lot of flexibility. Here are my 2 Cs.

Get your head behind the ball. applies all the more for driver.

Hold your finish.

Good luck!

Alright so I worked on a few things, and changed my swing around a bit. This is how it looks down the line! My slice has decreased considerably but its still there sometimes worse than others.

I am trying to swing more inside, not let the club go past parallel and keep my lower body a bit quieter, all of which have helped a bit, but there is definitely still room for improvement!

I think it is still too much hip turn..too little shoulder turn. But I think you are making great progress.

alright thanks alot! Sometimes your body is in such a habit of doing things one way that its hard to get yourself out of it, ya know? but I'll really try to slow those hips down!

I see that you posted a new video of yourself and what is glaring is that you are definitely casting your club to the outside on the downswing thus producing an out to in swing which then results in a slice. I can see it quite clearly from the looping video. Also, to add to it you have a flying left elbow which can aid to casting the clubhead on the downswing.

You really need to close that gap between your left elbow and your left side on the downswing. This will help you pull the club down as your first move on the downswing and help generate a more inside out path rather than casting to the outside for an outside in.
