Forums read change

It used to be that clicking on the little page icon next to a forum title marked that forum as read with no further action.  Now we get a pop-up box asking if we want to mark that forum read or all forums read.  Was this change intentional?  I ask because there already was an icon at the top of the page listing all of the forums that let you mark all forums as read so this new "feature" seems redundant, while turning something that was a one-click affair into a 3-click affair.  And personally I can't think of when I would ever want to mark all forums read after reading one particular forum.  I liked it better the former way, FWIW.

Same thing is happening for me.

Huddler is aware of the change. I don't know what they'll do about it exactly, but they're aware of it and have said:

" Thanks. Ticket #13194: No dialog when using the forum list icons. Keep the dialog when using the top "mark forums read" button. But in that case, remove the final "close" step."
