Currently looking at the rbz 2 and the new callaway hot 5 woods. Love them both but noticed that american golf are selling the ping g20 cheap which suits my budget more. Is there any difference and what do people think of the g20?

They are all great clubs.  At a 26 handicap, the difference is probably as much mental as it is fitting the club to your swing.  I would imagine that your swing is likely changing by quite a bit every time you play.  A part of that is consistency, and another, is trying to fix flaws in your game.

To that end, which club fits you the best today, might not be what fits you the best tomorrow.  So my advice is to buy the club that you "think" will be the best for your game.  At every level, this game is equal parts mental and physical.  So if you have the confidence to know that the club that you have in your hand is the best club for the shot you are going to execute, you are that much more likely to succeed with your intent.

If you believe that every club is just as likely to provide a successful result, than by all means buy the one that is the cheapest and spend the remaining money enjoying it on the golf course.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

I've had two driver fittings and an iron fitting in the last few years. In all cases, the launch monitor data pointed out two models of driver or irons that were leaders in performance data. From there, the fitter said you go with the one that "feels best."

As clearwaterms said, they're all good clubs. If a G20 hits the ball well, consider it!

And, if you have a 3W you've struggled with in the past, you might replace it too, along with 5W. Lots of improvements in FWs the past two years, after a ho-hum decade.

Focus, connect and follow through!
