I love the vehicle. I am hoping though that I get a company truck soon or at least find an old beater to drive up on construction sites.

So if anyone has a truck for sale let me know haha.

i drive a '07 Honda Civic SI coupe, habanero red pearl paint. love it.... plus the wife can't drive a 6-speed. the wife has a '07 Civic EX sedan.... we didn't plan on having kids for awhile... few months after we got out new cars she became preg., her car is too small for a family car and we wouldn't even consider taking my car anywhere. if my new promotion goes through soon, i will be looking into getting a Infinity FX50, Hummer H3, or Escalade.

About the most sensible option for me when I first moved to the US. As I didn't have any credit history I had to pay cash for it so was rather limited on my options, plus as I was 22 insurers don't like people like me! I planned to go for something better when I got work and did look around for something bigger but had become quite close to my Golf and decided against it. I'm thinking now once I start working again I might get something new! When I'm back in England I drive either my father's Audi A8 or my mother's S4 Avant.
04 Audi S4 Avant. Right at 400hp and two sets of clubs fit in the back perfect....

My mother's car is and looks just like that.

Pshh, I can't even get a 5 iron in my trunk. I rarely take the Elise golfing but if I do I lay a towel on the front seat and lay them in the cabin. But at least I'll never be late to a tee time ;)

My brother in law has an Elise, I've only ever been in it a few times as I usually go with my wife to see him. It is funny driving around the Bay Area next to Chevrolac Escalanches and feeling like you could almost drive right under them. Am still yet to manage a dignified entry or exit from the thing!

if my new promotion goes through soon, i will be looking into getting a Infinity FX50,

One of my colleagues had one and he gave me a ride in it. Firstly I asked him where the paper bag for me to wear was which he didn't really appreciate! He was quite proud of it for some reason I couldn't fathom, perhaps the 'faux military' image...It was possibly the biggest heap of junk I've ever ridden in! I actually feel bad for people that own the H3!

I'm VERY disappointed b/c of your username lol

I'm disappointed too!

I currently rock a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Previous vehicles: 1997 Wrangler Sport 1994 Wrangler SE 1992 Wrangler (first ride... bare as hell...steel floors and everything ) I also had a 1996 Jetta for a bit when I had to drive all over the place (work related) during college. When I was in the Caribbean for 2.5 years (2005-2008), my island beast was a 1988 Mitsubishi Montero (stick shift) aka the Safari Beast. I could wo whatever I wanted to her, and she still got me into the rainforest, up the volcano, and into the sand banks. She wasn't pretty, but she was a beast. How I miss her

Here's my ride. Learned to drive in it and detailing is another hobby of mine, so I'm particularly proud of it. 110K miles on the 3.7L and it still runs perfectly.

    • Day 79 - 2024-12-18 Got some work in before lessons while finishing the charging of the R50.
    • Matt, the equation is simple from my perspective. Stronger the grip, greater the potential of application for twist torque at impact. And if it it is combined with an extreme outward path as you say, god help you. Not too many skilled players with super strong grips, are there? Sure, it's all about match-ups but the connection to super strong grips and duck hooks is common from what I see and have dealt with myself.
    • Day 154: not feeling great, so just 5 minutes of mirror work. Working on backswing stuff still.
    • I have been a big follower of this technology ever since I saw Positive Putters display at a golf show in the Revealer they invented and patented. That would have been around 2000. It made sense to me that staying target line balanced was a better way of balancing.  Early models of these putters were often too flat for me and I struggled to hole more putts. I was fascinated by all of them - Positive Putters, the Railgun, the SeeMore blades and the Backstryke. I have tried the DF1, which was great for long putts, and currently use the DF3. I am still really good at long putts with the DF3 3, having made a 90’ putt and a 34’ putt in my last two rounds. My first round with the DF3 I only had 24 putts making almost 200’ of putts. I don’t quite use the putter the way they suggest- I don’t swing harder, and only a little longer, on longer putts. All my putts are at the same tempo, or strive to be. Therefore, I am swinging harder on longer putts. I do love putting with the DF 3 and I have become much better at putting through 50-60 mm gates at home, rarely hitting the sides.
