Well it looks like Garnett is on his way out of Minnesota. I am sad to see him go and hope the best for him in Boston. He is a intense player who always gave 100%. He was also very involved in the community and did a great job as the face of the Timberwolves organization. It was to bad he was never able to get some quality players around him in Minny.

Goodby mediocrity, hello lottery picks for the next several years.

Not good bye, it's helllllllllllllllllo KG!

If nothing else the C's will be fun to watch next year. I'm still not sure how those three are going to gel (there's only one ball) but it'll be fun to find out. The C's don't have anyone else though... Trader Ainge traded them all away! Our future is pretty much screwed so I figure they've got 3 years or so to get this thing done. I actually wanted them to keep that draft pick instead of trading for Ray Allen, but since they did that the KG move makes perfect sense. Hate losing Big Al though... he could be an automatic double double for the next 12 years. I really hope Al Jefferson can stay healthy because he could have a big future in Minnesota and I want to see him do well. Also, Gerald Green is a scoring machine waiting to happen... But Damn, the Celts got the BIG TICKET!!!!

C's starting 5

PG Rondo
SG Allen
SF Pierce
PF Garnett
C Perkins

I wish KG all the best luck in Boston. This instantly makes Boston the favorite in the Atlantic and a top team in the east. Although it's sad to see Garnett go it was probably the best thing for the wolves as well. There was a good chance Garnett would have opted out of his contract after this year then the wolves would have got nothing in return.

I will just have to be patient and watch the young wolves go through their growing pains. I will be cheering for the Celts in the east, good luck

The Sports Guy (ESPN columnist) was making jokes that Kevin McHale is still secretly working for the Celtics. Hopefully it works out for both sides.

I live in Minnesota, and while everyone hates to see him go, EVERYONE knows he deserves a championship and prays he will get one...knowing full well that it would not happen in Minnesota. In my opinion, it's quality players (and people) like Kevin Garnett in the NBA and Ladanian Tomlinson in the NFL that hold up such a huge part of the image of big American sports.

I feel the same way Saving.

Hi all, newbie here. It's unfortunate that the timberwolves weren't willing to surround him with some more talent. But minnesota does seem to be a really small market. Oh and wasn't d.west also involved in the trade. I know he was injured often last year but i still think he's an underrated player.

Well, there are people that hate to see him go, but in reality, he'd be better with the Celtics. I'm not saying that Minnesota isn't a good team, but now Boston has a better line-up and has a bigger chance on the championship.

The Sports Guy is hilarious! Always love reading his columns. Take a look at Minnesota... they look like the Celtics and I don't think that's a good thing.

Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Sebastien Telfair, Al Jefferson from this trade and they have Ricky Davis, Mark Blount and spare parts (do they still have Justin Reed?) from the Wally trade. Then they drafted Randy Foye last year who the Celts would have taken if they didn't trade the pick.

    • Day 3: about 20 minutes of putting on the practice green. Focused on putts within 10 feet.
    • I don't have enough details to know what to tell you, man. If they were walking across, to play devil's advocate, maybe just wait another 10 seconds next time.
    • Day 11: Putts with a metronome and worked on some feels for greenside shots.
    • I realize the frame cuts off my tail but wanted to specifically see my hand path and club shaft and head travel from A5 to A7 with the grip and posture work I have been doing . This might be the shallowest I have managed to get the club head to enter into impact. I like the finish much more as well.
    • Context:  I used to play golf very regularly (and when I'm playing regularly, I'm on TST regularly).  In summer 2022, I got my handicap down to a personal-best 11.9.  Unfortunately, in the three years since then, I've had far less time to play, and didn't really make the time to practice.  I've played a bit more the past few months, and I anticipate having a lot more time to practice starting in about two months, at which point I'm hoping to go back to my old practice habits (practicing daily, Evolvr lessons, spending more time on TST (come to think of it, I can do that important last part now)).   But it was thinking about how different my nines have been a few times in the past month or so that made me wonder if there was a thread here about it, and sure enough, there was.  In the past month or so, I've had a 38-46 and a 45-39.
