I'm sure this topic has been tossed around alot but I had to do it.

What spins more, Titleist Spin milled wedges or Cleveland CG 12's?
I just got a job at a golf store and I can finally afford new wedges when my old grooves wear out.

Also, on a unrelated note, I am thinking about changing my wedge set up. Right now I have a 52* wedge and a 58* wedge. I have been toying with the idea of taking my 2 iron out and putting a 52*, 56* & a 60* in my bag. The reason why I want to change is because I strugle with my 58* out of the sand and thought a 56* would make a difference.

never hit the cg-12, but ive read on some forums from this website that people are really unhappy with the zip grooves. A review should be coming out soon, but it sounds like the spin the cg's create is nothing of note, unlike the spin milled which create really nice spin. id take a vokey sm over anything out there

I don't have a Vokey or CG-12, but I can tell you from what I've hit with them, Vokey is a much better club.

We had a discussion about this awhile ago. Do a search. Currently the top search result for "CG12" is the thread I'm thinking of (because I started it).

The former. By a wide margin.

I almost bought a CG12 because they give an exceptable amount of spin from the rough and they dont tear up golf balls. I got a Callaway X-tour and it is a great club. My Sakamoto spins a good bit more though.
