This style of shoe is becoming very popular and is trending in an increasing fashion.  What do you think this style of shoe should be called?? There are many versions out there and almost every company produces them in some fashion.  Everyone has a different name for them, spikeless, street, minimalist, zero drop, etc.  I just wanted to hear from all of you to see what the general thought is, and more importantly what the golf industry should refer to them as.

See you on the course.

Can we just call them spikeless golf shoes?

"The expert golfer has maximum time to make minimal compensations. The poorer player has minimal time to make maximum compensations." - And no, I'm not Mac. Please do not PM me about it. I just think he is a crazy MFer and we could all use a little more crazy sometimes.

Spikeless golf shoes sounds fine, but just because they are spikeless dosent mean they are zero-drop. I'd stay away from callinig them street shoes, they're are people on this forum who believe the game of golf has too much street creeping in already. Dont get thes guys started on Flat Brim Hats or Cargo Shorts. By the way Global Golf is AWESOME!

I love my puma faas lite mesh. Regular golf shoes feel heavy, clunky, firm, stiff, etc. like wearing a work boot. In these pumas I feel like I'm walking On air and are super comfterble. For me its all about what feels best

Lightweight mesh shoes are great for walking the course. The only downside is that a heavier shoe helps keep my feet planted during my swing. Also, some mesh shoes don't have enough lateral support when I push off with my back foot on my forward swing. Do the Pumas faaslite feel like they have enough support? I like the design and am considering to buy a pair.

There's the puma faas lite and faas lite mesh. I had the mesh and tney have good support. I assume you mean down me foot roll over my ankle when I shift my weight forward. It doesn't. I feel planted to the ground and secure. I can swing as hard as I want and am not concerned with me feet at all

These Nike's are what I have and they're awesome.. I like to walk in the morning often during the week and they're so much better than the normal old style golf shoe, but a little more grip than some of the other spikeless styles http://m.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=15834426&lmdn;=Brand&cp;=4406646.4413987.4417989
