You take your hands out and up at the start of the backswing, too.

So put it in the ground just outside the golf ball and angle it to over my right shoulder?

Alright, I'll do that. I practiced more today with video, but it was more of the same over the top and just felt wrong. I can post it, but I don't know how beneficial it would be.
