So I wanted to get people's opinion on bladed irons. Is there a point anymore to use blades? Or does today's technology make them obsolete? I know blades are hard to hit and if you don't pure them every time it's going to hurt you. But say for someone who does hit the ball on the center of the face 99% of the time, are they really that much better? I forget what irons he was using but I know a while back Luke Donald wasn't even using Mizunos MP-4s, he was using the set a step down. For someone his caliber you would think he could hit the ball with a dime welded to a shaft. But oh boy are they such a beautiful sight behind a golf ball!
Yes; if anything, I need to fill a gap that still exists between my PW (Ping G10, 46*) and the 52* in terms of distance. 50-54-58 is also appealing, especially since it would give me a choice of grinds as well as lofts. The downside is cost; that's $450 in clubs at retail, and the SM6 is still to new to have decent used prices.
BINGO! Yes Lochte and his buds did some stupid stuff. They got drunk, they peed in the bushes (or on the wall), and Lochte ripped an advertising sign off the wall! And this makes them ripe for an armed robbery?
Good God almighty! The PC gift for rationalization on this forum astounds me! Weapons were brandished and money was demanded. That sure sounds like armed robbery to me! Yeah, the money went to the store owner! Please! The "security guards" were off duty Brazilian prison guards moonlighting for some extra money. Well, they sure made some extra money that night!
BTW, what kind of gas station needs security guards? None where I live.
Plus, the Brazilian authorities extorted nearly another 11 grand out of the last guy to return his passport to him and allow him to leave the country. This money is supposed to go to a Brazilian "charity". How much you wanna bet that this "charity" includes the judge's wallet and a couple of his buddies.
Jesus, people! Wake up already!
