I've had this problem for a year now. Whenever my hands are too high I'll get handy and either flip it and hook it or block it. I understand that keeping hands low sets up a lot of good thinks. You pretty much can't hook it because since your swinging more left. So if you guys can provide drills on keeping the hands low and swinging more left after impact and explain the concept (i.e. how i should rotate)it be much appreciated. Thanks it advamce

Wouldn't really recommend the "swinging left" concept, angle of attack can get too steep and cause a few problems from there.  If you really want to try it, the feel would be that the left shoulder stays low and goes left from the top of the backswing down.  Right elbow has to get in front of the right cage as you keep opening up and the hands exit low and left.

When you say my left shoulder "goes left from the top of the backswing down" what angle are you referring to dtl, face on, or aerial(imagine a camera directly over me? Would the ole tee under the left armpit drill help?

Left would be left of the target, opening up more.  Left shoulder has to feel like it moves level to the ground.  Kind of like Tiger's practice swings from a few years ago.

    • Day 1: 2026.01.03 Played 18 at Cape Kidnappers. Getting back into it after a few days off. Mixed results.
    • Day 40: short range session. Worked on my drill mostly. Finished with some full swings and driver swings. Range was packed because it was so nice out. Solid session though.
    • Day 5, 1/3/26.  Today was a weird day schedule-wise, but I did find 15 minutes to hit 6-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net).  I also got to thinking about yesterday's round and, other than a few thin shots (that I think were weather/grip related), I didn't have any wild non-driver shots, which was weird for me.  I need to get back to video, which is tough in my setup. Also, this wouldn't count on its own, but anyone reading this and thinking about doing their own 5 minutes daily, check out Fit for Golf's latest podcast episode.  It's only a few minutes and Mike does a great job talking about the importance of doing a bit each day.  That also reminded me, I let my FFG subscription lapse, I'm going to renew it.
