Right now i only have one wedge (55 deg.) There is a huge gap between my pw and 55 deg. I am looking to get rid of the wedge and get two (this will put me at 14 clubs). I was looking to get a 53 and 58 so i have 5 degs between each wedge. I am only a kid and on a limited income so i need your ideas on what wedges to buy. obviously i will try them out, but i do want to have a starting point. Also, do you think this is a smart choice for wedge degrees- 48 deg pw, 53 deg sw/gw, and 58 deg sw/lw

i would just do 52 then either 56 or 58

For that setup, depending on the loft of your PW, if your PW is 46 then 52 and 58 or if it's around 48 then 54 and 60.

      Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.

      Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.

      Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).

      Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
